Servo Motor Technician


Summary: Analyzes, modifies, builds, rebuilds or over hauls electronic and electrical equipment and controls.


  • Plan Details of working procedure by determining replacement needs or new material required
  • Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams and drawing to install, repair, calibrate, service or replace electronic devices and systems
  • Test equipment to check operation
  • Perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, properties of material 
  • Fabricate parts if not commercially available, using machine and hand tools common to the trade
  • Candidate will be reposponsible for dives such as pressure differential gauges, transducers, panel meters, load cells, temperature controllers, variable speed drives
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair and replace AC/DC motors

Skills and Experience

  • Two years of collegiate-level technical or vocational training, or equivalent combinations of education and experience
  • Knowledgeable of NEMA code
  • Four years of previous related experience and a thorough understanding of manufacturing operations requirements
